This topographic map is a map of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. The map was made by the U.S. Army. It shows the configuration of the land surface of Haiti by including contours lines, woodlands, urbanized areas, and the surrounding water. The urbanized areas are in pink while the contour lines are brown. The contour lines show the elevation and the contour interval is 20 meters. I chose to use a map of Haiti because it is where my family is from.
